The RealMe service
The RealMe service allows people to access a number of different participating online services with just one username and password.
RealMe® also allows people who have completed a high confidence verification process to prove information about themselves online. This currently includes identity information from the igovt identity verification service and address information from New Zealand Post’s Address Verification Service.
It is an all-of-government secure, privacy-protective shared service and reduces duplication of investment. RealMe is key to meeting the government’s objective of better, smarter services for less. The RealMe service expands and builds on the proven technology of the igovt services.
More information about the RealMe service is available at www.realme.govt.nz.
